The 7th annual E-ATP Conference, Gaining Advantage Through Assessment, is set to go in Dublin, 23-25 September at the Intercontinental Dublin.  This year's Conference will focus on three tracks:

  • Trends and Innovations;
  • Test Development and Standards; and
  • Programme Best Practices and Success Stories.

The Conference will also cover five strategic themes including its title theme: Gaining Advantage Through Assessment as well as sessions that cover Operational Best Practices, Meeting the Challenges of Testing, Leveraging Assessment to Realise Talent and Innovations in Assessment. Specific content sessions are now available to be viewed online by going to the full programme and clicking on the "more info" links.

Key note speakers will include Dr. Robert Hogan, President of Hogan Assessment Systems and an International authority on personality assessment, leadership, and organizational effectiveness;  Dr. Michal Kosinski Assistant Professor, Stanford Graduate School of Business, who was listed in 2013 as one of the 50 most influential people in Big Data by DataIQ and IBM, with two of his papers being placed in the “Top 100 Papers that Most Caught the Public Imagination"; and, Simon Nelson, Chief Executive, FutureLearn, the social learning platform and first UK-based provider of massive open online courses (MOOCs).

E-ATP Administrator Pam Patel noted that, "the full programme is now online so attendees can start planning their schedule.  For those still not registered, they can still do so."  Patel noted that another popular feature making a return at this year's conference will be the Hackathon  where teams will compete to create a certification programme and win prizes. She added that this unique programme was so popular last year that it was replicated at the ATP Innovations Conference in March and is now being brought back to the European Conference for a third run.
