MEA-ATP 2020 Planning Underway

With eight sponsors, three committees and a developing program, planning for MEA-ATP is underway. As 2020 approaches ATP is continuing in its partnership with Middle-East based CONNECME to bring the MEA-ATP 2020 conference to Muscat, Oman.

"With direct access to government, academic and professional attendees from the whole Middle East and Africa region, MEA-ATP offers a rare opportunity to understand and enter the MEA market," reported CONNECME CEO Mohammad Shadid. "The conference last year, and again this year, will offer world class research and presentations at the cutting edge of the world of education and assessment," he noted.

This year's conference will be held at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel in Muscat.  "Oman's capital is Muscat which is an ancient walled city located on the Arabian Sea and is an absolutely captivating place to visit.  There is a range of natural and cultural sights, both in and around the city,  and with a variety of outstanding restaurants and beautiful beaches, as well as a warm climate and a welcoming community," said Shadid.

The Call for Papers  is open and the deadline has been extended to December 6th. This year's theme is Transforming Learning to Unlock Potential. There are a variety of sub-themes under that topic from Overcoming the Taboo of Vocational Learning in MEA to Technology helping the next generation in MEA to think outside the box to Artificial Intelligence in Assessment to Badging, Micro Credentialing and the Digitisation of Credentials.
