ATP Launches First EdTech and Computational Psychometrics Summit

Building Equitable Pathways to Achievement

The Association of Test Publishers is pleased to announce its first Virtual EdTech and Computational Psychometrics Summit (ATP ECPS), scheduled for December 3rd and 4th, 2020. The theme for this inaugural event is Building Equitable Pathways to Achievement.

The two-day virtual Summit will feature speakers from Duolingo, Schmidt Futures, the Institute of Education Sciences (IES), Curriculum Associates and others in the Ed Tech and High Tech industries who will be focusing on how rapid societal changes are accelerating the need for equitable access to education and assessment.

"No two learners’ journeys are alike. By broadening access to education and professional opportunities, applications in Al, machine learning, and theory-driven computational psychometrics are allowing assessment providers to better serve the wide-ranging needs of learners," said ATP Director Alina von Davier of Duo Lingo. In this summit, she explained, leading experts in the field will discuss how education technology and the discipline of computational psychometrics are helping narrow the opportunity gap and building achievement pathways.

The ATP ECPS will be a two-day summit taking place on December 3rd from 11:00 AM EDT to 3:45 PM EDT and December 4th from 11:00 AM EDT to 3:45 PM EDT. The summit will include a variety of engaging sessions, including keynotes, panel discussions, and demos.

The EdTech and Computational Psychometrics Summit registration cost is as follows:

• $50.00 Member Early Bird Rate; $75.00 Member Regular Rate

• $200.00 for Non-member Early Bird; $250.00 for Non-member Regular Rate.
