ATP Welcomes New Board Members

Officer Nominations Now Open

 

The ATP Board of Directors will welcome two new, and two returning, Directors in January.  New Directors are Eric D’Astolfo, Senior Business Development Manager with Pearson VUE and Rob Pedigo, Vice President of Psychometrics for Castle Worldwide. The two returning Directors are Andre Allen, Section Vice President at General Dynamics Information Technology and Christine Niero, Vice President, Professional Certification and Client Development for Professional Testing, Inc.

Eric D’Astolfo has held senior positions with a variety of testing organizations and test sponsors, serving in a range of leadership roles with Harcourt Publishers, the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence, and Questar Assessment. An active contributor to industry associations and committees, he has served on the executive committee of the Innovations in Testing Conference from 2013 through 2016.  He was both the conference chair and a closing keynote speaker of the 2016 Innovations in Testing Conference, where he and a team of ATP colleagues presented on the topic of Reclaiming the Conversation.

 

Rob Pedigo is the incoming Chair of ATP’s Workforce Skills Credentialing Division after having served as Co-

Chair (2016) and Vice-Chair (2015). He is Co-Chair of ATP's Interoperability Study Group, and has served on the Innovations Conference, Program, and Security Committees. He has presented at ATP, E-ATP, ICE, and the Certification Networking Group; and, he contributes to the Credentialing Transparency Initiative and WorkCred Policy committees. In December, Rob will end nine years of service on ANSI’s Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC). He has also served in several leadership roles with the American Board of Nursing Specialties.

Returning Director Andre Allen has been a pioneer in overseeing global R&D projects that advance the field of human capital risk management with tools that strengthen business ethics, employee integrity, and overall corporate performance. Andre currently serves as 2016 Chair of the ATP Board of Directors.

And Christine Niero, also a returning Director, has served on several ATP Innovations Committees, including most recently, Conference Chair of Innovations in Testing conference, and Program Chair.  She has held leadership roles in national organizations, including committee member and Vice-Chair of the Personnel Certification Accreditation Committee (PCAC) for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) world standard for personnel certification, ISO/IEC 17024, and ANSI Conformity Assessment Policy Committee (CAPC), National Policy Committee (NPC) and Committee on Education (COE).  Dr. Niero also served as an Officer of the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (now ICE).

Nominations are now open for the positions of ATP Secretary and ATP Treasurer. Nominees must be employed by a Regular Member of ATP; must have served on the ATP Board of Directors; and no organizational overlap can exist with a member of the 2017 ATP Board of Directors.  For Treasurer nominees experience with budgets and financial statements is required.
