Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) The Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) is a professional membership association that provides education, networking, and other resources for organizations and individuals who work in and serve the credentialing industry. As a leader in the credentialing community, I.C.E. is dedicated to advancing credentialing through education, research, and advocacy. I.C.E. is a thought leader in the practice of foresight and has released a paper along with resources on the topic of the Future of Credentialing. I.C.E. offers accreditation for certification programs through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), and accreditation for Assessment-based Certificate Accreditation Programs through the ICE 1100 Standard.
